Touring
Windshield Tear-Offs™ perform best when installed on a new windshield. Instructions are included with each set
of Touring Tear-Offs™ and an installation DVD is available.
Using
the same materials developed for professional stock car windshields, Touring Tear-Offs™, are sheets of laminated Polyethel
Triglyceride (plastic), die cut to fit each windshield application. Installers remove the protective release liner, revealing
an adhesive backing, and install Touring Tear-Offs™ like window tint.
The
MST™ Hard Coat minimizes windshield surface tension. This technology repels bugs, oil, and grime from sticking to the
surface. Thunderstorms and driving rain, instantly break up (similar to anti rain chemicals) and stream off, providing improved
vision through the windshield. And, Touring Tear-Offs™ material has been military tested to withstand a 65 mph ballistic
test.
Touring
Tear-Offs™ come in three types – “Solo” for fairing bikes, “Uppers” for the bagger windshield
top only, and “Complete” sets for baggers, covering the upper and lower areas of the shield. With normal care,
a single set will easily last 15,000 mi./24 months and longer.
